I have a lot of plans for my #cleftstrong page. I want to have guest cleft families contribute their stories, advice, answers to questions like the ones above, and definitions of "cleftstrong." I do this in the hope of creating a strong community of people who support one another and bring awareness to everyone else.
If you would like to be a part of this, please contact me! If you have questions for cleft families, you can ask them below or e-mail me. Let's start building this community together!
As a part of constructing this community, I've included below some links to helpful websites. The Internet has a lot of great resources for information and encouragement -- check them out! I know when I first found out about Ella's clefts, I was nervous to look at pictures, however after I did I felt much better.
The blog of Ella's plastic surgeon, Dr. Liau (his before and after page is a must-see): http://ukhealthcare.net/cleft-care/about-cleft-lip-and-cleft-palate/.
